Sevim Ak, who wrote over 30 books since 1985, is one of most favored writers by children. Her novel From Stamps, From Stone and Form Cabbage has been translated to Dutch.

Sevim Ak’s book From Stamps, From Stone and Form Cabbage, where she emphasizes the importance of “recycling” through a delicate perspective, has been translated to Dutch as “Mole and the Living Things”. After the book was translated to Dutch and published by Manteau Publishing in Netherlands, Sevim Ak was invited to Netherlands by the Dutch Ministry of Education for the 400th anniversary of Turkish-Dutch diplomatic relations.

The translation belongs to the Turkologist Hamide Doğan, whose mother tongue is Turkish.
